This project was conducted within exceptionally tight site boundaries and under high security restrictions. It involved the detailing, manufacture and installation of new retail fitments to a shell unit formed by the airport shell & core contractor was conducted over two phases to interlace with the on-going terminal expansion works.
Close co-ordination and communication with the client direct contractors for M&E elements such as audio visual, security, data, telecoms and EPOS units were central to the successful delivery of the first phase of this project including office facilities and back-of-house storage.
The 2nd Phase followed the opening of the new terminal extension and required the unit to be increased by approximately 40%. This was further complicated with a phased, overnight, installation and the management and co-ordination of approximately fifteen contractors employed directly by the “Perfume Houses”.
