Sotheby’s Offices Announced At The Edinburgh Grand

Sotheby’s, one of the world’s oldest international auction houses has opened its new offices in one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious locations, The Edinburgh Grand.

TJL’s Small Works Team carried out the refurbishment of the existing offices into new regional office space with a private viewing room within this A listed property, which also features new lighting, furniture and display systems.

Thomas Johnstone Ltd were thrilled to return to The Edinburgh Grand for further works as the Small Works Division complete another excellent project!

"Fly" Fishing Thanks To TJL Van!

Once again the team at Select Flyfishers have thanked Thomas Johnstone Ltd and Kenny Buchan for the use of his van during their trip to Rutland Water earlier this year. As a team they carry a lot of gear (as seen below!) and so the use of the van is very much appreciated.

For the first time these "fly" fishermen managed to beat some of the top Scottish teams to qualify for the Anglian Water Invitational Final at Grafham Water on 21st September. Good luck for the final Select Flyfishers!

The Ink Building Features In Scottish Construction Now

"We are also very happy to have appointed Thomas Johnstone to undertake the refurbishment works.”

One of our exciting projects - The Ink Building in Glasgow City Centre - has been featured in Scottish Construction Now.  Once the refurbishment works are complete this building will offer 35,000 sq. ft. of contemporary office accommodation.

A great website has been created - www.theinkbuilding.com - where you can see visuals of the planned finishes and find out more about the development.

We are delighted to be working with client Ambassador Group and the project team including Stallan-Brand, PMP, Butler Consulting Engineers and Blyth & Blyth Consulting Engineers Ltd.
