This project consisted of an extension to provide additional office space at Select’s head office. Works included structural steel frame, with timber lining board facade and timber windows, an external balcony and sun terrace roof. The full internal fit-out included raised access floors, a combination of suspended ceilings and plasterboard MF ceilings, floor and wall finishes, along with complete new building services.
The new extension, within the garden area at the rear of the current offices, was surrounded by an existing 2.5m high garden wall dating back to when the area was originally an orchard. With only 3m between the wall and the new extension, the project team had only a narrow access route. To ensure the client’s normal operations could continue at all times, our project team maintained a responsive and flexible approach throughout.
