This project was undertaken as part of a two stage tender process in order to meet strict budgetary constraints whilst ensuring best value. Works commenced 3 weeks later than originally programmed, however with close liaison with the design team facilitating quick and responsive flow of construction information the original programme completion date was still met and the opening ceremony was successfully launched without compromise. The works themselves entailed the formation of an Executive Briefing Centre including reception, conference rooms, display area and associated breakout, toilet and kitchen facilities. The effective management of the progress on site allowed the inclusion of numerous additional works to other areas within the campus, which were planned for later dates, to be undertaken within the same timescale also. The smooth delivery of this particular project was aided through the use of our recognised family of subcontractors complemented by our own internal divisions, manufacturing, building, mechanical and electrical and decorating.
