Following an association with BAA stretching back over a period in excess of 15 years, we were delighted to be involved with this recently completed terminal extension offering state of the art security facilities at Glasgow Airport. Our involvement with this latest infrastructure project comprised the provision of both pre and post contract fit-out services to create a new combined search facility, together with reconfiguration of existing shell and retail space.
At the pre-contract stage our site team worked closely with both the design team and management contractor to ensure that all buildability, programme and budgetary issues were addressed and overcome.
Post contract fit-out works comprised the provision of new laminate clad partitions, floor screeding and tiling, suspended ceiling works, decoration, roller shutter installation, general joinery together with the manufacture and installation of bespoke desking and security portals. The majority of these works were carried out by our own in-house divisions, and were completed to a demanding timescale. The end result was the delivery of a world class facility on time and budget at Glasgow Airport.
