Thomas Johnstone are efficient, hard working and they will always
strive to get the job done on time and to our requirements. We are
very happy with the end result and the performance of the team throughout the project.
We carried out the repair works to Door D2 entrance at Glasgow Airport following the failed terrorist attack of July 2007.
The works consisted of refurbishing existing fire damaged ceilings, replacing various structural steel elements, repairs to the entrance canopy, replacement of the entrance doors and curtain walling and the coordination of the airports direct services contractor. These works were carried out whilst the airport was fully operational and required significant coordination with BA and other airport users, all carried out to a tight programmed schedule.
