TJL announces positive results
Having reached the end of the first quarter of 2009, we are happy to announce strong results in a weak economic climate.
Having now lodged our annual audited accounts to the 31st December 2008, we can confirm that Thomas Johnstone Ltd achieved a very good result for the year with a strong start to 2009. Our sales grew 20% from £37m in 2007 to £44m in 2008. Profitability also allowed us to increase our reserves over the year with an even stronger cash position.
Our sales for the first quarter of 2009 are even higher than for the first quarter of 2008 and we have already secured more work for 2009 than we had at this time last year for 2008.
These latest figures must be a testament to our truly client focused approach, our established relationships and proven track record where we have grown and become stronger in a smaller and weaker marketplace.
